This utility is used with the legacy Six Port Card and R3000 UPS. This utility will allow the mapping of load segment 3 to be controlled by the server attached to load segment 2. Six Port Cards with Firmware Revision 1.04 (or later) will allow the HP Power Manager software to properly power off load segments and the UPS as part of the normal shutdown process when a power event occurs.

To ensure the integrity of your download, HPE recommends verifying your results with this MD5 Checksum value:

Reboot Requirement:
Reboot is not required after installation for updates to take effect and hardware stability to be maintained.


Installation:

Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.

The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename according to the SP Number.

Run the SP executable to unpack the firmware and release information.

From that SP directory, use the detailed instructions located in the HP R3000 UPS Accessory Mapping Utility Instructions.pdf file to perform the update.
