DESCRIPTION

When attempting an installation of HP Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Version 2015.04 as a firmware baseline for a server profile on a ProLiant server managed by HP OneView Version 1.10.09 (or earlier), most of the components from the SPP will not be copied to the server to be installed. HP OneView will seem to successfully install HP Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Version 2015.04, but only a subset of possible components will actually be installed, namely those that are still in SCEXE format. This incomplete installation may occur whenever a firmware baseline is applied to a server via the Server Profile Apply feature in OneView or when a firmware update is performed on server profiles via the Enclosure page.

SCOPE

Any HP ProLiant Gen8 server blades or rack servers managed by OneView 1.10.09 (or earlier) with updates from Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Version 2015.04 (or later).

RESOLUTION
